There’s More?

That’s right!  Here at BehaviorAdvisor.com you can purchase “learning modules” that are appropriate for personal learning or district-wide professional staff development.   The video and audio podcasts found on BehaviorAdvisor are only a part of these modules.  The podcasts and activities that accompany them can be purchased by contacting Dr. Mac at DoctorMac@BehaviorAdvisor.com

How Would We Utilize These Learning Modules In Our District’s Staff Development Plan?

The online staff development learning modules are available to your educational professionals in two ways: Placement on your school district site, or via a password entered into BehaviorAdvisor.com  Teachers watch the videos, listen to the podcasts, and engage in the activities, completing a packet of documents that are then brought to a scheduled gathering at your site.  There, the staff development specialist or other designated person leads a multi-faceted discussion and activity session (Questions and powerpoint slide show provided by Dr. Mac), expanding upon the home-based learning.

If staff development credit is to be awarded upon evidence of knowledge and skill acquisition, that proof is found in the submitted documents that are then reviewed by a designated person in your district.

You Want How Much?

Figure the costs for the typical staff development session:  Honorarium for the presenter; reimbursement for travel, hotel, meals, and other expense; perhaps rental of a hall and catering of food; substitute/supply teachers may have to be hired to cover the classrooms of session participants.  All told, figure that staff development for 30 to 100 people costs somewhere between 2000 and 8000 dollars.

Consider too that the cost is for a one-shot staff development session with no follow-up.  With the learning modules, your district can make repeated use of them for years.

With all the above information in mind, how does $329.99 sound?  Pretty good, eh?
